Key milestones

To complete a successful migration from your current retail planning system to StoreSpace®, our onboarding process has five clearly defined stages. It takes up to 12 weeks to complete and is flexible depending on the availability of your IT, merchandising and store development teams.

Your business goals, team capabilities and resource availability will be considered throughout, in order to reduce friction and maximise adoption.

A transparent and methodical approach

We track and document the entire StoreSpace® implementation journey from the start of our relationship. All stakeholders are involved along the way to define objectives, monitor progress and identify any potential roadblocks that could affect the implementation timeline.

Your StoreSpace® implementation journey

Stage One: Project launch

We begin with a collaborative kick-off meeting. This gives our team the chance to gain a clearer understanding of your business priorities. All key decision-makers come together to align expectations around the functionality that StoreSpace® must deliver. This ensures all users enjoy a smooth deployment focused on delivering maximum value.

Stage Two: Discovery

As a team, we identify and document areas in your current retail planning processes that could be improved. In doing so, we build a picture of any business challenges that we may encounter along the way. During the Discovery sessions, we also capture the decisions that will inform how Storespace® is configured for your business.

Stage Three: Data preparation

There are two distinct parts to this stage: the pilot and data migration.

Using the configuration decisions defined during Stage Two, our team migrates a sample of your existing drawings to StoreSpace® to create a pilot. These pilot drawings deliver an accurate representation of the completed StoreSpace® platform and how it will work. This will also mean we can provide an accurate quote to help with the data migration.

Once the pilot is approved by your teams, data migration can begin in earnest. Undertaken by you or working together, this will ensure existing store plans are in a suitable format to be uploaded to StoreSpace®. This will improve the quality, accuracy and accessibility of your store data.

Stage Four: Training

StoreSpace® training follows data migration. It takes four days to complete,  and is tailored to the users’ level of AutoCAD skills, and can be conducted online or in real life (which we prefer!). We cover key aspects related to specific user roles to make sure your colleagues are fully equipped to use StoreSpace® before the platform is launched for everyday use.

Stage Five: Hypercare

Once StoreSpace® is in place and your new processes are clearly defined, we progress into the Hypercare phase of our Customer Success Programme, which lasts for up to two weeks.

Acting as a real-time support team, Hypercare ensures that there is always someone on hand to help you get the most value out of StoreSpace®. They can answer critical questions about both StoreSpace® and retail planning best practice when your teams need it most. But that’s not all. Once Hypercare is complete, we will book monthly meetings with key team members for up to one year, so that your business continues to meet its goals using StoreSpace®.
